Dwarf feather dusters like the one you bought and the pinks are great nano tank additions. I have several of them in my various tanks.

    ALK buffer reccomendations?

I also like the 2 part additives because they are keeping you calcium level in line with your buffers, since one can affect the other I think a 2 part additive helps keep things more stable.

    Corals for my24 aquapod pc

:welcome to nanotank. You may also want to look into zoanthids, a lot of different and bright colors available. Ricordias are nice, mushrooms are a good option, leather corals like cabbage leathers, finger or devils hand leathers are also nice and are available in browns, tans, cream and...

    Stand for nano?

I have seen tanks on these stands and like Sadie mentioned I don't think the base is large enough for the to be very stable on thick carpeting. The stand itself seems to be built well enough though.

Getting the right exposure to kill parasites...

Thats the way I would interperet things, since it is not a live product the UV can't kill it.

    New Setup - AGA 75 Gallon Pre-Drilled

I know what you mean about the hurricane season, I hate to think about all those storms. You may take a look at one of the floating bait aerating pumps, these are small 12 volt pumps that float on the surface of the water and keep the water aerated. One of these and a couple of 12 volt...

    Jebo Odyssea PS75

I also say go for it, it is rated for more than twice the size you are palnning on using it on (some manufacturers over rate their products saying they are for bigger systems than they actually can handle). As long as the price is right it should be fine. Like Sadie mentioned, if it doesn't...

Nano Reef for a TOTAL beginner.

:welcome to nanotank. You are on the right track by coming here and asking questions first, learn all that you can about basic set ups. Then try and decide which corals you want to keep, post a list of them here and then we can give you an idea on the equipment you need (especially lighting)...

    Lighting upgrade question

That would be a good upgrade, especially with the mod that Tim mentioned. If your not in a hurry to make a purchase JBJ has also come out with a pair of hang on MHs, if I remember correctly theirs are 70 and a 150 watt models.

    Newbie, First Tank, Advice Appreciated!

I still wouldn't recommend over 2 fish in a 12, specially for a beginner. With a more experienced aquarist they know what to look for and see a potential problem and know what needs to be done long before it becomes an emergency situation.

Getting the right exposure to kill parasites...

The Kent is not a live product but a stabilized product. There are a few live phytoplanktons available like BioPlankton and DTs, I think that Reed Mariculture also sells one and I am sure there are others. If it is not sold refridgerated or frozen then it is not live but a stabilized product...

Its zoa heaven. The clove is a very nice addition as well. Overall your tank is just fantastic.

    how fast

Like Sadie said, it all depends on the coral. There are some corals that grow so fast they could take your tank over if you didn't keep them pruned and others that grow so slowly you are lucky to get a single frag in a year. Keep your water conditions pristine and your parameters in range and...
