I use the aquastick bc my hermits like to knock my softie frags onto the sand below.

I like to use marine epoxy.

ditto if there's coralline in the tank and enough calcium... you'll get coralline.

What about a bacterial bloom? I know FW does this all the time. I think if you got a significant die-off from the live rock, you could get a really strong beneficial bacterial bloom that clouds the water. Thing is, if it's sand in the water... it'll carve your impellers and possible make them...

congrats... i set up in dec. too, but i had good coralline on my LR to begin with. Been adding purple up for a few weeks though and now I'm getting some one the back of the tank... It is exciting. :)

Ha... I'll still stick with Nano. [Looks around] Besides, there's no where for another tank to go without the furniture going to Goodwill first. And all the tabletops except the dining one has a tank already.

It really is a 5...I got really close. Yeah, cameraphones suck, but I guess better than no pics at all. The chili is good... my hermits like to mess with it though. I think they are fascinated with it. They clean it and hang out on it... They really like to pick up corners of it and tuck...

I have a YWG, he's a lil baby... about an inch long now. he eats anything that the hermit crabs don't get first.
