Pull out a small screw driver and then chip off the head if you want to move it to a grow out area. The area it's on look like the part of the coral that is no longer soft and fleshy anyways.

I agree the upside down swimming sounds like a swim bladder issue. Gasping is something fish do for a variety of reasons. I don't know exactly what happened but disease is definitely involved somewhere. Sorry to hear about your loss.

Check nanotuners.com and nanocustoms.com. I JUSt replaced mine and all I remember is that it is a two wire setup form the circuit board. The replacements I used have their own power suppply, so if all else fails just find any setup you like.

I like several sources of flow as opposed to just measure how much water is moving. Get a nice broad base of flow and try to address any *dead zones*. What is your source water?
