    JBJ Nanocube DX

Ultraspectrum vision. It's very awesome the way they look at YOU from inside the tank. Very interactive. I am uploading some photos now, but he isn't in any of them. He currently is about 3 inches long.

    additives for corals

There are quite a few opinions of chemical additives. I personally use ESV b ionic dosing. Regardless of which you choose (if any) please only dose those things you test for.

    Dream Nano Tank

LOL yes we did... Zak did you find a tank you liked? The JBJ pico-top is nice. A couple places sell fully modded JBJ 6 gallons. Then you can get a AGA 5 gallon and get some LED lights.

My 10G Hexagon LED powered reef

Very nice! I do like LED lights as they are less power, same shimmer, and very good PAR readings. Just normally very expensive. For the twitching, is it twitching near another clown? It may be trying to pair up. Nice clean lines on that tank! For corals you can look for local reefing clubs...

    Finally put my tank together...

12 hours of light is a bit much. Get a timer and I would say about 8 hours would be a good amount of time.

Ah I don't have a good photo of the mantis yet. I moved my blue spot to the 28 gallon so that the mantis won't eat the goby. I have to get some photos taken to post them up. It's a smasher type and apparently they have the fastest feeding strike in the world. They punch so fast that they...

    Finally put my tank together...

You may also benefit from putting in something like a koralia nano in the upper right of the tank blowing back against the rocks to help kill dead spots behind your rocks. Looks like the path the fish tank happiness. Instead of only running one set of lights how about backing down on photo...

    JBJ Nanocube DX

LOL guess I should post my own pictures huh? I did quite a bit with this tank. I changed out my bulbs to 50/50s, added in better fans on their own power source, I put the LEDs on their own power source, added in that LED fuge light, added in more ricordias and took out all my fish and put in...

    Turbo snail.

LOL I have my hermits that are left over from my 90 gallon. So it's the toughest of the tough and the big ones. They are blue leg hermits and zebra hermits and three or four of them are about the size of golf balls...

    thermometer insanity!

Quite true about the stability. But I would like something to calibrate against. For prosperity's sake at least.

    nitrates

For a quick reduction in nitrates you can do a series of small water changes. Get about 3 gallons of change water ready and up to temperature. Do a 1 gallon water change and wait 10 minutes, then change another gallon, wait another 10 minutes, and then change the final gallon. This help...

    thermometer insanity!

You are using the AC3 jr right? How well does that one work? And can you calibrate it?

    Finally put my tank together...

Happy days! You can do some frequent and smaller water changes to help reduce any *bad* things in the water. Honestly I have had great success in doing three or four small water changes in a row. On my 20 gallon I changed out 2 gallons, then waited 10 minutes and changed 2 more, waited 10...
