Ouch....That had to have been terrible. One of the guys here locally had not one, not two but 3 tanks leak on him. First was a 75 that sprung a leak, not too bad, but the living room carpeting had to be professionally cleaned, he had to scramble to get tubs and a new tank to not lose...

Nope these guys and bumble bee shrimp only eat the tube feet of starfish. I found a few pages that say that they will both eat the tube feet of a few types of urchin, but most of the more scientifically slated sites don't mention them eating on urchins. They will NOT eat anything else...

I doubt it would be a good idea to use it for any tanks. It'll still have all the chemicals and impurities that you don't want in it. But I'm not really an expert on the filters. Most folks I know that want to conserve the waste water either run a line directly to their lawn or flowerbeds, or...

I see. I've only seen a few tanks that had macro in the display. For most of them it was intentional, to give tangs something to graze on. These were large tanks of course. It might be cool to have macro in a small tank. Almost like having a planted FW tank. B
