Sorry Mike, I can't really comment much on them. The two small patches of them I have in my tank now are the first ones that that have done well. I tried them several times in the 55 and they never opened up once. I'd do a largish water change to maybe help things out. B

the tanks themselves are fine, but you'll probably have to rip the light out and retrofit a PC light in there. I've been trying to grow some mushrooms under an eclipse 3 hood, and even with new bulbs, for the most part it isn't cutting it. B

Re: Nope. For the most part on forums if you keep the images to 600x450 it makes it easier to see the whole image without having to scroll back and forth and up and down. Most free image hosting sites will give you the choice to reduce the size of your images. It's a little slow to do it...

The nimbles do NOT float. Part of the reason they're so thin is that the guy sacrificed the air bubble needed to make it float for the thinner profile. B

Don't feel bad at all...Many folks have been told by other people or their LFS that these things are more advanced, quieter, etc... I've steered clear of them because the design doesn't make sense to me, but that doesn't mean that lots of folks use them without problems. CPR's big selling...
