    Aquapod Nano-Aquarium System 24 gallon 2-32watt bulbs

I second no anemone, but it is your tank. Anemones are fickle creatures and even if you got a small one, it will grow and split. I have see them in nanos for long periods of time, but they take over the tank.

    Aggression in the tank

Thanks! Seems the firefish we the culprits. LOL I had three that seemed to be ok with each other, but two paired up and the third was beating BOTH of them up. The aggressor has been relocated and the tank is doing well.

    okay im an idiot!

If you do this, then a CA reactor or at a minimum Kalk infused top off is a must IMO. SCWD for random water movement. LED lighting is nice too, but VERY expensive right now. Look for PAR instead of watts per gallon.

So Im cycling with live rock...

Bad smells only mean bad things. I think you are just going to have a rather long cycle. If nothing else is in the tank, but the lights off and just add top off water and let it be for a couple weeks.

    paint

+1 to no paint. Plus if you painted it then no good bacteria would ever grow in it.

    New live rock

Corraline algae in the first?? Maybe a feather duster in the second? Sponge in the third? No clue on the last. Maybe some form of a macro algae. I'm not the greatest on IDing.

Questions about cycling my new 12g eclipse...

Very good advice all the way around. But please remember that we are all only giving you our personal experience or what we have found to be true. I would suggest mushrooms and maybe a bubble coral or some frogspawn. I suggest these because the bubble coral and frogspawn can eat to help...

Where to buy a nice tank stand

If you want it to look like furniture then the best bet is to find a local furniture maker and get a custom job. Or check the local big box pet stores and ask what they can order in for you.

Questions about cycling my new 12g eclipse...

Well I don't use fish to start a cycle. But your fish will need to feed about once a day. Some do twice a day and some do every other day. I recommend once a day. You will probably have to do some water changes to help keep the fish. Brine shrimp are kind of like popcorn for fish, taste good...

    FUGE QUESTION

not sure how well it would work for nutrient export but for a place for pods to grow it should work. I don't think it's the best solution. I think the HOB would perform better.

    Increased Flow

I don't suggest buying it. LOL that is expensive. I just thought that would show what you talked about. LOL koralias are quite nice and very cheap. I would suggest the koralia 1 over the nano only because the nano ones I have don't like to stop and start very much. They work great, but if I...

    My 14g water box

I like hermit crabs because I think they are cool. But they can kill snails for their shells. Unless someone else says anything I would start with something like: 3 Dwarf hermit crabs (blue leg, zebra, scaret, whatever) 5 small nassarius snail (make sure that they are not whelks) 3 cerith...
