Any want to sell frags in and around Irvine, California

I have traded with a couple people...Eddie, roodee, and a couple members from another site, proraptor and someone else, and that is my preferred method by far. You get much better corals for half what you would pay for it in the LFS or even cheaper if you just trade a frag. Plus, you know it...

    Buying a set up tank???

i agree with eddie...no crushed coral, it just traps detritus. Go with aragonite sand...sugar-sized grade is my favorite...mix that with some slightly larger grain sand and your good to go. Jesse p.s...happy b-day!

    Jesse's 20L+20L fuge...

Well, I've decided to start a new thread seems how I have completed my setup. It has been running better than I could have imagined, and am really quite pleased with it. :banadance: The rock work is by no means final, in fact, I ran out of time last night and just threw it all in there in...

flatworm exit - some random thoughts and observations

Sorry for the loss, johnanddawn, that is always difficult to take. I think the problem lays in the fact that in such a large tank, it is difficult to remove most of the FW. As a result, much more toxins are released upon the large poulation's death, thus causing this sort of reaction...

Yasha Goby/Pistol Shrimp Pair - your thoughts?

I know that my LFS sells them cheaper, but online, that may be the cheapest you can find them. I would love to add that pair to my 20L, but they are jumpers and i cant have a lid on my tank. I would say go for it, i have heard many many good things about the pair...very entertaining. Jesse

    My LFS

Well, i would NEVER suggest using raw tap water anyways, even if it DOES dechlorinate. Many people have success with the IO...usually it is 1/2 cup salt per gallon...this may vary. Hardly any fish store will guarantee saltwater fish, 99% wont guarantee corals... Where are you located...
