Nice shots...is this a 5.5 Gallon? If so, that maroon WILL outgrow that tank, but enjoy him while you have him. they are agressive, so watch out. Looks good. Jesse

    nanocube questions?

with the carbon, you are mainly looking to see when the water begins to run clear...you will always have loose pieces occasionally coming through. Jesse

Current USA 20" Orbit 80w Reef Aquarium Strip Light

I had the 2x40 watt current satellite...you cant beat it for the price...separate control of the bulbs as well as a built in moonlight. I tore it apart and installed in along with aMH fixture in a custom canopy. Jesse

what do you guys and gals think?

I could be wrong, but i think if you place the pico on a piece of styrofoam, it should help reduce the amount of heat transfer from the lights to the "wave" tank. Jesse

    Powerhead Pump Question

if it is a 2006 model on the nanocube, then the stock pump is upgraded anf the flow is good. otherwise the stock pumps on the previous models should probably be retrofitted... Jesse

    my 10 gal nano

Skip the catalina goby...he is a cold water species (~70* farenheit). Firefish are prone to jumping...they are VERY good at it and require an inpenetrable glass top. true percula is a good choice...one of my favorite clowns. Jesse

    Tank Mates - Fighting

Im surprised that the six-line picked on that maroon clown....maroons are usually agressive and territorial... Roodee, if it makes your decision any easier, the clown will be happier in the 24 gallon than the wrasse will be. And with the clown you will be able to keep other fish as you...

    fission skimmer for nanos?

Are you going to use it on a nanocube? If so, I would say go for it...it is better than no skimmer. But if you are using it ona standard glass tank, go with a bak pak 2r or an aqua-c remora...both very good skimmers. HTH, Jesse
