    Edgray's 12 Nano Cube

I dont know if a jawfish would do well in a 12 gallon nano. You would need a sand bed that is ~2.5"-3". They do best in larger aquariums and get a majority of their food from the zooplankton in the water column. Here is a fantastic article about Jawfish...

Flower anoeme (or how ever its spelt :) )

If I am correct, these anemones prefer to bury their foot in the sand. They are carnivores that will feed on silversides, raw shrimp (like tiger shrimp), mussels, etc. Moderate light, moderate flow. What color is yours? Jesse

Just bought a nano with BRISTLE WORMS HELP

I dont trust what any LFS says unless it is something I have heard at numerous other places. I always go and research something if it is the first time I have heard of it. I trust other's experiences more than anything I here at a LFS. Jesse

    What to do?

I would suggest one like this... http://www.drsfostersmith.com/Product/P ... 004+113544 ... you could just mount it in between your fluorescent lamps. Or i think this one can do the same thing...it comes with a universal harness as well as a clip. http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem. ...

    Coral Question

Welcome to nanotank. There are thorough answers all throughout this site for questions...just search through the forums as previously suggested. A brief answer would be corals: zoanthids, mushrooms, green star polyps, etc... Fish.../depends on what kind...however 1-4(if very small...

    Watts per Gallon

Over time, any photosynthetic coral in a 10 gallon tank with only 18 watts of light are going to go downhill. The corals require the light for their photosynthetic zooxanthellae from which the corals feed. The corals such as zoanthus, mushrooms, etc. get a big majority of their food from the...

    newb in need of info

I would say no to the odyssea...I havent heard very good things about their product, plus it is only 5 gallons. the quality of the nano cube isnt going to be matched by any other "all-in-one" system out there. Jesse

    Watts per Gallon

I wouldnt use that light on either of the tanks...the general watts/gallon rule doesnt hold up.... ie. a 20 gallon tall tank (18" tall) with say 96 watts of pc isnt going to be as effective as a 96 watt light on a 20 gallon long (12" tall). Measurements of lighting that are more effective for...

    newb in need of info

Cubes are great because of the simplicity of them. However, it you want a nice custom setup with everything that YOU want, I would suggest a 10 gallon...or even better, a 20gallon long....and purchase everything that you want. This is the most flexible way to do it...with the nanocubes, you...

Welcome, maubee. I would suggest using the search function as sadie stated. Search this site and take a couple days (or weeks...whatever it takes) and read through all the posts in the beginners section and any other section that applies to your situation. You are always more than welcome to...

    Fish for Nanocube 12

Depending on the kind of LR (tonga, marshall, fiji, etc...), I would say 10 lbs is usually a good start for the nano cubes. Try to find rock that is very porous...you get more for your money because it is lighter in weight...and you get better biological filtration out of it. Jusdt a...

I really like your tank. The rockwork is great...I like how it comes around on the left side and leaves the open sand on the right front...great job! Jesse
