    Oh the possibilities for that bookshelf unit . As for the filters man they cleared that up pretty quickly ...... I agree on moving the intake away from the bottom as they will suck in the sand :mrgreen:

    Thanks sugar . We have cut feedings to 2 x a week and I am doing massive portion control with pellets , the fish still seem happy and healthy , I did a 20% h20 change on monday ( I think) and will do another today and then the regular on sunday , that should help in reducing the underlying...

    Skip I was under the impression that it was most all gobies . Our stores here had a run on bad gobies where they were all dying out . But you are absolutely right it is the clown gobies that were talked about here and not the watch man :oops: I apologize for the misinformation . Skip thank...

    for more flow you could use a mini jet either 606 or 404 either one should help you . I have 2 of the 606 in my 7 gallon and a 404 in the 2.5 gallon both give good flow :mrgreen:

    :lol: I've done that too :lol: But if he can't find any of those the sand from the craft store is still a viable option as well it just wont sink as easy. I talked to the owner of estees and he said that the sand that they make is the same as the pet store sand and both are reef safe...

    One other thing that I do to help me is I go to walmart and get generic addy lables go to the dollar store get a calendar book (dated works best) then on the lables run the tests that I test for Ammonia NitrIte NitrAte Spec grav and temp I put a line on each to write the values down...
