once your tank is up and stable for a period if you still want a star fish you could always get some mini brittle stars the eat ditrus and leav the corals alone . They also readly reproduce  www.flordiapets.com carries them that is where I got mine from hope this helps you

Tanks looking great . I would rehome the starfish as a small tank does not offer enough food and they will eventually starve to death, he may also knock over rocks and corals  You also seem to be moving too fast has the tank had a chance to cycle ?

72 gallon reef experiences first major loss...

Mike NitrAte at that level are not all that bad but high what I would recommend would be a bag of chemi-pure and if you have it already get a new bag as well as possibly a second filter with an addtional 1/2 unit. I would think that the 10 gallons per day might be a bit much maybe 5 slowly...

I am using an 18 watt pc 50/50 If I were to start another tank I would use a larger light with better output ratings . I probably would not go with an anenome due to the size tank just because it doesnt take much to out grow that size tank .The filter is a penguin 100 with out the biowheel run...

    Clownfish Compatibility

If I were to try to "mate" a pair I would want at least a 46 gallon or larger , ideally Iwould want a 50 gallon tank for them. If you set up a larger tank for them then let it cycle. If you place them in at the same time you might be ok . For one maroon fish a 30 would be ok but pushing the...
