    Lights for 2.5 gallon

You should see some pods soon. For the colors that will probably turn to algae. It does get ugly before it gets better.

    Chillers for 28g nano

Thanks! After a bit of research I decided that if I do need a chiller with my new tank I will be going with the mini artica as it can control a heater as well as it cooling so it will handle all temperature for the tank. (Summer will tell me if I need the chiller though) Thank you for that...

That is what I use my LEDs for. And they work wonderfully!

    The 6 Gallon

Nice zoas. That algae on the first shot, is that the first you've seen of it there? I only ask I as I had a bryopsis issue for a bit and I found a method that works well for it. If it is byropsis then taking using magnesium can get rid of it with little direct effect on your corals. Just get...

    Snaza`s 8g/30l SPS Nano/Frag tank 25x9x8 inches!

Well that matured quite nicely! How is your polyp extension? Are there any signs of stress on the shelf from the weight of the tank? That fish looks like a Court Jester Goby to me (I don't know the scientific name). By the way! :welcome to Nanotank.com!

    Trent's 7g

 Nice shots! Have you always used the 20000k light or do you have any experience with the 10000k bulbs?

    Finally put my tank together...

I like the rock work. It's a bit early yet, but keep an eye on that lower right corner of the lobo. I think that's the spot funkngroovy was commenting on. Nah, no super bold text. Remember KoNP everyone is just trying to help out. :cool1:

    CarsonF's new nano

I don't think it would do what you want it to. Water in and of itself doesn't house a substantial amount of bacteria. But then again, the water couldn't really hurt either.

    Anemone or zoanthid?

I don't have a positive ID. Do the tentacles get any longer?

    upgrade kit

Fans can help keep the heat from the bulbs from increasing the tank water temperature. There should be no increase of evaporation as the hood is sealed and the fans are just moving air across the bulbs, reflectors, and circuitry. The adapter is a variable so I imagine that means you could...

    Finally put my tank together...

:) Let's keep it nice from all sides :) His previous posts have discussed timing already.

    NEW BIOCUBE 14

I wouldn't put anything in there. Also I wouldn't do a water change for the first couple of weeks either. The stuff on the back looks like the remains of coralline algae (nothing to worry about).

    3 gal questions

I mean a filter. You can gut it out so it doesn't have anything in it.

Water movement, light and temp Question

Looks like you have already been taken care of. I would either buy RO water or check out distilled. Normally tap water is not so good, but you can check it out via water test kits (almost a must in this hobby).

DIY Sump for a JBJ 28Gal HQI

I just recently got that tank. I just checked it out and it looks like a glass back to me. Send out an email and double check through the manufacturer. I don't *THINK* it would be tempered, but hey I didn't build it.

    chambers

No dumb questions! PH is Power Head. For my chambers in my nanocube 12 DX i have: 1. One sponge (if any, right now - no sponge) 2. Chaetomorpha (macro algae) with a 3 LED light on a reverse photo period 3. Heater and PH ( :cool1: )

    LED lamps for 36" tank

Very cool! I don't know why i didn't do this earlier, but this is being moved to the lighting section. :cool1:

    Funkngroovy's nano (7.5G)

I *think* the common name is Daisy polyp (grows FAST). Nice color on the plate there!

    Finally put my tank together...

Good to see the algae gone! Reefman is the photographer (well him and Edgray, but I haven't seen Ed in awhile!)

    The 6 Gallon

Seems that some of your coral are looking to split! :cool1:
