http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem. ... uct=CS0821 Mixing different colors of sand only lasts a very short amount of time. the colors will quickly and completely mix together due to sand-sifters, water movement, etc. Also, with black sand (and pretty much any other color other than...

    New tank

A cycle may last just a few days or a few weeks... it depends on various things. The best way to tell when the cycle is complete is to purchase a good test kit and test for nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia. If you are referring to the sponge filters, you should only need to rinse them well...

    d-K's 20L tank

Make sure that brain is out of the direct path of light... they DO NOT like high light. The 250 watter will kill them in no time. Make sure there is no direct current on the bubble coral... their tissue can be damaged rather easily. With the leathers, its a good idea to run carbon from...

    Anyone have experience with Danea??

NO SPS... give it a year, study the kind of SPS you want to keep, get about 50x-80x turnover on your tank with either T5HO or MH lightings, and preferably ONLY SPS in your tank... then consider getting it. Jesse
