Wow, both of your tanks are looking good. You mentioned that the nano6 is stabalizing already? That's some good news.

Any pics of that 10gallon on ur wall of aquariums?

Aren't zoos poisonous? Like as in one of the more powerful neurotoxins that has no anti-toxin?

Sorry for the odd post but great looking tanks, kinda makes me want to make a custom tank of less than normal dimensions.

From what I have read, the verdict is still out......

Seems maybe the palys are a more likely to have them.....

To be safe, you can wear latex gloves.....

Zoanthids themself are not toxic. However, some types of palythoa, parapalythoa, zoanthus, and other anemones have been found to contain dinoflagelates that produces some types of neurotoxins (such as palytoxin). I wouldn't take too much concern over this however, as many large claims have been made with very very little research. If anyone here is into psychology, then emotional contagion would be a good way of desrcibing the whole palytoxin thing.

Wearing gloves is never a bad idea when propogating corals for the saftey of you and the coral.

Well, I think I have finally got the zoo eating nudi problem under control! The tank is starting to mature and the critters are settling in and taking on some color. here are a few updated shots. The first will be a full tank shot and then the old leftside, middle and right side, group.

When the weather get a bit warmer, I plan on selling some of my extra zoos and stuff. I am putting you on the top of the list for first dibs......

Ed,
Yes it is a sponge and it has a type of encrusting organism on it. The sponge seems to be doing very good and I can see it water tubes opening and expanding. I am hoping the the encrusting stuff is eating the same as the sponge. I have found with sponges that you will know pretty fast if they are going to survive or not. You either see them bgighten up or fall apart in a matter of weeks....

I guess I got lucky with this one!!!
