Got a few items in the 6.6 for now.....I may have to do a little make over, but I am going to let it settle in a bit......




here is a little bit closer shot. First the left side and then the middle and then the right side......












This is just after the critters were put in.....

I will get some better shots, once things start to open.....

That is a red sponge...I got it because it had the encrusting organisms on it. Not really sure what they are yet. The guy who sold them to me said they were zoos, but I am pretty sure he is wrong.....

Just beautiful Dickie! Those red skirt zoos are really nice. Love the flower anems too. Where did you get the livestock? come on...spill it man!!

You've filled both tanks so quickly, not much room for any more stuff when you factor in the growth over the next year or so.

I grab stuff all over the internet, I am always looking for a deal. I usually wait till a company is running free shipping or like 25 to 40% off. Then I put in an order and hold them in my prop tank, till something like this project comes up.

After these two tanks are up and running, I will be redoing my 20 gallon regular. I have decided to give SPS a try after seeing Sugar Magnolia's tank..... :razz:

I don't worry about the tank getting too full, I have never had a problem with things growing too fast..... :oops: I am one of those people who is always tinkering and doing changes to my aquascape and critters. The hobby is much more to me than just watching a tank grow, I have to be hands on.....

Well things have opened up in the 6.6 and I can see where the 130 watts are paying off. Compared to the 18watts in the nanocube6, this tank rocks....

Here are some closer pics of the items in the 6.6, if I am posting too many pics, please let me know. I am just trying to keep a close log of what is going on.....

I am so in love those zoas those peach color zoas are simply amazing . The purple thing is also pretty I had no idea that it had a flowery look to it that is gorgeous :maitre :maitre :maitre I bow to you I say that is beatuful Mine will never look that good :cryinga:

I may end up off line for a bit to sell the computer for more frags and because the keyboard locks up because of all the drooling :lol3:

All I have to say is that tank has turned out even better than I though it possible. I love the corals, zoos, gorgonians, etc. Kudos to a job well done.

I wasn't suggesting blocking off each end of your tank, I just thought it was an interesting thread dealing with modding the same tank. I personally prefer your approach. Keep the pics coming, even if a little diatom or whatever shows up.
