Well I hope that you all dont mind all the pictures... I am constantly taking them everyday so I have to post them somewhere.

So here goes...

Here is a pic of my splitting candy cane... the clown couldn't resist the camera!

Here is a new picture of my blues... I have noticed that they are already filling in.

Here are one of my favorite frags...

And the other of my favorites...

And the larger of my zoa colonies...

And here is a series of FTSs...

That's all for now!

Some updates... I have a float switch that should arrive tomorrow or Thursday. That will allow me to finish my 5 gallon battery-powered ATO.

I also traded my Hamilton 14,000k lamp for a Hamilton 20,000k lamp...it too should arrive tomorrow or Thursday.

Thanks for lookin'!

thanks little urchin... i wish you could see them in person, they are great.

I completed my ATO today... took me about a half hour. I ditched the battery-powered version and instead used an extension cord, a 5 gallon bucket and lid, and a Rio 90 powerhead that i had laying around and i built this... http://www.melevsreef.com/plumbing/auto_topoff.html ... it works like a charm! I'll post pics tomorrow.

I love the frags, Xenia has attached already to LR and the Monti is at home as well. I need to get motivated and get my MH up but I have too much side work right now.... need to make time! Well.. I "rescued" Eddie's T. Crocea from the evil Bi-color Blenny! LOL!

So I now have TWO clams. The crocea has been in the tank only since last night around 10 p.m. These pictures were taken only about 1 hour after lights came on today.

Here is the T. Crocea...

T. Crocea from the front...

Both of the clams...

My "old" T. Maxima...

BTW, the color difference is amazing from when this clam was in Eddies tank with the PC lights... It was blue!! Now it is green under my MH.

Here are the pics when it was in his tank...

I should be receiving my new 150 watt 14,000k Phoenix lamp either today or tomorrow, so I am REALLY looking forward to that.

Thanks for taking a peek,

Jesse

It looks nice but    IM missing it already   ... ok whats the deal with this first i couldnt keep clams without MH and know is cause of the Blenny not fair  cause i have my MH know just waiting for them to be installed by Jesse's INC.

P.S: i love the color change and maybe could be cause still stress from blenny and still lighting up its color cause was starving and know will get enough food from your 150w MH....BUT THE GOOD PART I SEE IS THAT IS ALMOST fully open (my exclam) and excellent sign cause had almost a week or so of not opening like that.... I WANT IT BACK

I think I may just have another addiction WITHIN the reefing addiction...

CLAMS!!!

My newest addition... This is one of the nicest T. Croceas that I have EVER seen in a LFS store... although unfortunately it is tough to portray that through photos. This one must be seen in person.

Here it is acclimating...

Above shot in the tank... same day, just a couple hours after putting in the tank...

Group shot...

Group shot from above...

Here are the yellow polyps that I got from Sandra...

Here is a growth shot of my zoa frag from the previous page...

Hope you like...

Those are some super great shots!

I'm thinking of buy a clam... every one of your clam shots just make me want one more :loveface

What a difference in color just by using different lighting... either way the clams still look great.
