    Bubbling skimmers

    Stay away from Jebo if you dont want bubbles entering the tank. The jebo pump has also blown up 3 times for me. Maybe i'm just unlucky.

    filter pads/sponges in canister/hobs

    I use filter sponges in both my filters, I rinse them in old tank water twice a week and they are always full. They do take a lot of junk out of the water. As long as you clean them regulary I think they are ok.

    1/3 every week end on a 15 gal. I have missed a week once and everything survived but the tank wasn't its beautiful self...

    jebo pump

    I haven't used the external ones, but I have used the internal ones to run my skimmer, and 3 blew up within one month, they just kept burning out. They came with the skimmer so you would think there shouldnt be a problem... Just my experience, maybe I had a bad batch....

    Salinity Level...Why Differing Opinions?

    Just an update... i have decided to go with my local coral shop, 1.020 - 1.021 because i buy alot of fish and coral from them, there tanks are beautiful, and its less stress on my new fish if i introduce them to a tank with the same salinity from which they came. Thank you for your imput.

    Salinity Level...Why Differing Opinions?

    Hi, I am new to salt water and i have been hearing all differnt opinions about what level the salinity should be. My hydrometer says it should be 1.020 - 1.023 My local coral shop says it should be: 1.020 - 1.021 And i have read on forums that it should be 1.023 - 1.025 Whos right?
