Definetly go for 1/4" glass...just get it pre-cut at a local glass shop. Then just silicone it together well...you would be suprised how well silicone bonds glass together.
It would be cool if you could drill a hole in the upper corner. I dont know where you are located but I could help you or do it for you if you are in So. Cal. Its really quite easy.
The HOB's will take up alot of space in a 10g. You could custom make one though... I found this, it may be a...
Hahah...That reminds me. Steven, Eddie, anyone else who is local...next time you are at Tong's, look in the HOB fuge that is on the left side of the SPS frag tank. You will see an Aiptasia that has been there since I started shopping there over 2 years ago. It is giant.

Brandon, as of right now, it looks like shipping will be between $20-$25 for overnight USPS. I will check for sure and get back to you.
In the mean time, check with Mike G., He lives in the bay area and may know of a place to get nice frags or may even be able to supply you with some...
BTW, I dont use kalkwasser, but i do use tropic marin Ca...but i think the key is dripping slowly at night. So slow your drip to spread it out over the 12 hours that your lights are out at night.

Here is an article from the trusted site, www.reefkeeping.com specifically for the care and propagation of Goniopora including the red, the green Goniopora norfolkensis, Goniopora planulata, Goniopora stutchburyi, Goniopora pandoraensis, Goniopora polyformis, Goniopora burgosi, and more. I...
This is an old post...I dont know if anyone that is still currently here has DIY LR in their tank. But, with time, you cant tell DIY from real. I have seen a 1,500g or so reef with plenty of homemade rock...couldnt even tell. It will eventually become "live", too.

I wish I/you lived closer to you/me because this isnt the first time that you wanted something and the distance didnt make it worthwhile!
Oh well...hopefully someone local likes what they see.

I would recomend the satellite dual 40 watt 20" fixture. It has a built-in fan and lunar LED moonlight. I had it...until I tore it apart and incorporated it into a custom canopy. I would also recommend that caralife 96 watt "Quad" light. The downfall of this one is that you cant control the...
I have a ~1" frag that is ready to go. It has two branches already forming at the ends, as well as a small branch beginning to form about half way down.
Here is a shot of the frag...
I am open to lots of corals, especially exotic/rare zoas, all sorts of LPS including (but not limited...
Mike...if it isnt too late, may I suggest that you get the black foam insulators that are used on plumbing such as water heaters and such to block the light from your plumbing. I suggest this because I was just at HD and they sell them for about $1.25 per 6' length...probably the cheapest...
Forgot to mention that your bubble may look sad because the shrimp may just be irritating it by walking across it or coming in contact with it often...doesnt necessarily mean he is harming it. But without pics, its kinda hard to tell.

Step one is to never trust what anything your LFS says until you seek several other sources that verify what they say is true. I love ALL of my LFS, but i never trust what any of them say without researching it further first.
Just my opinion.

Petco carries them in their stores. Lighting would be fairly easy with a power compact that is the length of the tank being plenty.
Also, welcome!
