    Reefman's 20L...

Here's the pics as promised... I traced the circle on the inside of the tank, surrounded it with plumbers putty, and filled it with a thin layer of water. Then I etched the circle with a diamond bit. After a few passes around the circle with the bit, the water gets cloudy from the...

Can anyone tell me what type of coral this is ?

I agree with sadie...look like aiptasia. I highly recommend getting rid of it with a product called Joe's Juice. most LFS carry it. You just apply a small amount to the center of the aiptasia with an included syringe. It can be used in the tank and is reef safe. Jesse

My Two Week Old Nanocube 24 DX

I thnk it looks good...I wouldnt suggest adding any more. The reason being that you will slowly add LR every time you put a coral in (usually due to the fact that they are generally anchored to a small piece of rock.

Question about a kent product ?

Yeh, i use it. i think you mean Phytoplex. Its good stuff just to warn you though, you'll want to follow the guidelines on the directions. It is pretty potent and you want to be careful using it in a nano. Jesse

    Reefman's 20L...

i am curius as to why it is easier to crack the tank using a rotozip as opposed to a dremel. The rommended RPM's for drilling tanks is 25,000-30,000. both the dremel and the rotozip are just that. I havent used the rotozip yet, but I have a tank that I am going to practice on. Thanks for the...

    2 Week Cycle?

Depending on how many water changes you did, the fact that you used live sand as opposed to dry sand, and the fact that your rock was semi-cured, it is possible for your cycle to be nearing the end. Remember though that this does not mean that you tank has the biological filtration to be stable...

    Reefman23's 16g Bowfront...

The first time around i dosed 22 drops in a 16 gallon tank. Around 4 hours later I added a couple drops. Two days later (yesterday) I added another 20 drops. The directions tell you to add one drop per gallon on the first day and if you see little or no deaths, add 50% more. I saw deaths...
