A 6 gallon JBJ nancube dream!!!

Thats incredible....but i sorta dont understand putting so much light into a 6 gallon tank...the only corals that would benefit from that are SPS..a 6 gallon tank isnt the best choice for those. Hmmm, it is very clean DIY tho. Jesse

    Lighting upgrade question

I would into the jbj as skip mentioned...if you look into that coralife fixture, you usually have to modify the arm so that it doesnt hang out over the tank too far. I like the look of the JBJ Viper K-2 ( i think it is called). Check it out. http://www.jbjlighting.com/sys_k2_viper.html Jesse

    SOLD...

Yes, sorry... It is already sold...it went to my friend's 80 gallon reef. When he introduced it to the tank, it split! I got that anemone from Jeff's exotic fish...they have a store in Orange, Costa Mesa, and the main warehouse store is in Gardena which is worth the drive. It is right by...

.75g Aqua Vase and Kent Marine NanoReef Parts A and B

I have to agree with this...that tank is just too small to dose anyting. You could however do nearly full water changes so long as you match the temp, pH, and alkalinity...that would replenish all traces as well as eliminate nitrates and nitrites. Jesse

    Aquapod Lighting

I like to run the actinics for 30 minutes before and after the daylight bulb. For example... 8:00 a.m- Actinic bulb on, moonlight LED's off 8:30 a.m- Daylight bulb on 7:30 p.m- Daylight bulb off 8:00 p.m- Actinic bulb off, moonlight LED's on That is an example of the way I used to run...

    white mushrooms

I think it is probably a green shroom that has bleached from stress or lack of light. What kind of light are you running and what size is your tank? I would probably leave it in an area of lower light, then slowly move it to an area of higher light... it may color up eventually. Do you have...
