    Edgray's 12 Nano Cube

Cool...I wanna see some updated shots. It is very difficult...and risky...moving an entire tank that is full of water. I would think that it is even more risky with the nanocube seems how they are know to crack already. Jesse

    Pulsing Red Sea Xenia...

Ive got a nice sized frag of pulsing red sea xenia that i would like to trade for some zoanthids or maybe a bright colored shroom or two. This has to be somewhat local as xenias dont ship well (or else I would save it for the frag swap!) I am open to other coral/inverts as well, let me know...

    Pulsating Xenia..

That is one of the proper ways to attach xenias...glue doesnt work because they are so slimy. Xenias are very hardy. Put them in an area with moderate flow...not too strong though. They will spread like wild fire too, so watch out. Signs of health are pulsing, good polyp extension, polyps...

My first 12g nano reef, First test results, Need advice

First off...welcome. secondly, this is perfectly normal for a new tank. Thirdly, that is the reason you should NOT have anything in there right now. I would suggest removing the goby and the shrimp...return them (which the fish store should do seems how they sold livestock to someone that had...

great lighting for a 12" cube (7.5 gal)

No its not the same. Plus those screwins are very inefficient due to their design...not much of the light reflects and actually makes it to the tank. when we refer to watts, that is for the actual watts, not the incandescent equivalent HTH, Jesse

    Edgray's 12 Nano Cube

Ed, I can always take a couple more shots. I except cash or corals as payment...lol. Just kidding. I can come by some day soon and snap a couple more pics. I think you are in the middle of moving now, right Eddie? Let me know, Jesse

    bumble bee snail

IME, take it out. They are not algae grazers, they are sort of a detrivore that will attack other snails when food runs short. I have even read that some have found that they may forage for beneficial worms and pods. IMO, take him out. Jesse

wooo i got some zoassssssss coming

Nice zoas. Be careful when buying online to check the kind of lighting that the pics were taken under. Actinic can affect the appearance. These are nice though. Jesse

New to the page. Here's my 4 gallon.

Very cool. I have that 70 watt 14k too... I really like it. That with my 50/50 compacts have a real crisp white light with a light tint of blue. Great tank! Jesse

    Cycling my 12G

Your nitrates are a little high still. When was your last water change? How much are you changing out? Acclimating cleaners is similar to acclimating corals. I like to float the bag in the tank, open it up, and while it is floating i drip a couple cups of my tank water into the bag at a...
