You could probably try scraping it off the rock. Once you get it off though you'll need to let it attach to something else. Personally I'd just get a chisel and break the rock. That way it's not gonna blow around the tank until it manages to anchor itself again. B

I agree with djConn. The corals you just put in will pull less calcium out than when your coraline starts taking off. If you just stocked a bunch of SPS you'd probably see a swing, but I seriously doubt you'll notice one with the stuff you just put in. Can't wait to see the new pics. B

Hmm...It doesn't sound like anything I'm familiar with. What other corals are around it. Maybe it's getting stung or irritated by something. I had some hairy mushrooms that I had too high up in my 55 and they bleached out. Once I moved them to a lower spot in the tank they did much better...

Yeah, it seems your's is pulling quite a bit of crud out. Have you tried running it for the same amount of time without blowing off detritus first to see what the difference is? I didn't really notice any difference in the corals or critters, but mine is cycling on my main system, so figure...
