Here's something you don't see everyday. I was experimenting with shooting top-down into the tanks last night and came across this. The first couple are top-down, then a side shot. Hermit crab battles. Oh....I got the loser another shell and he crawled into it and was fine. :wink:

Everything looks really good NA...Can you get pics of your clown..With it moving like that it's hard to tell, but It looks like it has quite a bit more white than normal. I REALLY love the clowns when their coloration is sort of 'off'. B

I think that the mix you're suggesting is totally doable. Everything is compatible, and fairly easy to keep. Realistically you're probably only looking 3-4 fish total for a tank that size. I would want to mix it up a bit more and have different species, but that's pretty much just personal...

DT's is a phytoplankton product. This and Liquid Life's Bioplankton are the two most respected brands. I honestly don't know what the stability and prime are. Who makes them? Since I haven't read anything about them on the several fish boards I hang out on I would be hesitant to add them...

It's probably a sponge. If it seems like it's irritating anything then I'd just peel it away from the area and throw it away. If it's not irritating things then I'd leave it. If it is a sponge it's a good sign that your tank is doing well. B

I don't know of any that really distinguish between base rock and the rest of their liverock. The only one that I know that does occasionally is Planet Fish, and it's generally when they get a load of tonga branch or something in that you notice a bit of a price drop on their other rock. I...

Without pics it makes it very difficult to figure out what exactly it is, but it sounds like sponge. Are there little holes through it? Or perhaps it looks kinda fluffy like cotton candy? B

I think you COULD probably get away with running your nano without a filter, but hang on tank type filters are cheap enough for that size tank that I don't really see any reason to skip it. I've posted all over the board about my wife's 10g. We bought a aquaclear500 and the small in-tank...
