The base of the coral has withered away, yet oddly enough it still looks healthy. I'm stumped. It is currently in a shot glass with some sand in the bottom, to keep it upright.

No, just the shroom behind it, but I think it was well out of its reach. Even if it had touched it, I think the shroom would have taken the brunt of it.

Found my new Christmas tree coral like this when I came home today. Not sure if something was picking on it or what. He's still 'out' but not sure what is going to happen when he goes to close up for the night. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Unfortunately it is very hard to get rid of once it has tangled in your rockwork. I've used tweezers to remove the roots from the crevaces in the rockwork before. As for the macro going sexual the tank should clear back up soon.

The babies are quite playful, its really cute to see the little kids out there with them. We put all the little ones in a pen one day and gave all the small children leads, their job was to pick a baby, clip the lead on and bring their baby to their great-grandfather. All us adults could do...
