Here are a few of the coral that I got in this week. Christmas Tree coral Umbrella shrooms (trying to get the one to attach) Little Plate and Zoas Finger Leather And now that the plates are side by side and I get my sandbed nice and pretty I'll post a picture of them as well.

You can also use bridal veil to help them attach. I'm currently using a shot glass, but if that doesn't work within a week Im off to look for the veil.

No, I haven't posted any pictures yet, waiting til everything settles in. I bought a green short tenticle plate, a christmas tree coral and a few umbrella muchrooms.

Sounds like a diatom bloom and yes this is common in a new tank. You can syphon it off the sand bed and blow it off he rockwork. Try cutting your photoperiod down a few hours, this is commonly done as well during a cycle. HTH :mrgreen:

Ok, had a coral package come in this afternoon, so I plead my way out of work early. Get everything acclimated and decide to trim the macro in the fuge. As an afterthought I grabbed a bowl to place the macro in until I could throw it out. When I went to toss the macro I noticed alot of pods...

Everything looks wonderful! Are those yellow zoas or yellow buttons polyps?

Remember to turn your protein skimmer off and remove any carbon that you are running in your system for the first 24 hours. Any time that I have had to use it, I've followed up with a water change as per instructions.
