    Star fish?

They do look cool but that's it, they are carniverous I think.

    Friendship for frags

How much would you charge to make a stand that holds a standard ten gallon All Glass Aquarium fish tank on top and one in the bottom to act as a sump that has a drawer and door?

"Match Water Temp During Water Changes"

PH changes due to oxygen and hydroxides changing in the water. With the salt mixes we use the water should reach a certain PH with only a powerhead to airate and the mix. I would just stick an extra heater set to 79 degrees and a powerhead and let it sit for a while to mix and heat up.

How do I get this out of my tank? Pic included

Well the nitrite, nitrate, and phosphates will be low because the algea is consuming them. I would reduce the amount being fed a little bit and wait a week or two and see if the algae decreases a bit. If so then too much food is getting into the water. The algae is feeding off of something....

    Pump for friends 20g

two powerheads (i guess maxijet 600 or smaller would be fine) are almost always better than one. You can have them near the bottom of the tank in opposite corners pointed to the front of the tank to create some nice flow.

    Friends new clownfish

I've never had clowns. If they are eating and are active, I would keep a very close eye on parameters and let things run their course. Just be careful not to overfeed. Sorry I can't be more help.

New with 12 g Nano. Have qs

    1. Better is a relative term. Larger tanks have more water, making it so that water parameter changes are not so traumatic on the tank. 2. Generally good things to have. I would ask that guy what the name of the grass is. Probably either calpura or chaeto (I misspelled both those words...

Day/Night Cycle in JBJ Nano tank.

Instead of replacing one of the bulbs couldn't you find a small actinic bulb to add in the hood with its own remote ballast to give you a dawn dusk effect? Shouldn't be too bad, a lot better than ripping up a ballast. :D

    First Reef p Please Help

A lot of people put live rock rubble in the cannister. Carbon or phosban (phosphate chemical reducing media) or filter floss. With enough live rock, live sand, and macro algae I believe very little else is needed for filtration. Carbon is always nice to run chemipure or purigen is popular...

One note on the bubble coral is that it has sweeper tentacles that may harm some other corals if they touch them. Give the bubble some space.
