    sun coral

To help feed it some take a pop bottle and build a cage (cut bottom off) over the coral and dump in mysis so it can eat unmolested.

I don't know what size sump pump to get

You want to make sure that your pumpt does NOT exceed the overflow capacity of your tank. Other than that a lot of people aim for 3-5 times turn over. (90 gallon tank = 270 - 450 gph pump after head pressure calculated in). Do a google search for head calculator or pump calculator (unless we...

    new set up

Well I would love to see some pictures when you get it going. I am curious how you plan to have the water leave the display and have the sump return it at the same rate if everything is going to be plumbed from the bottom.

    55 in progress

Yep it's a 90 gallon. Well I found a use for my old 55 gallon and that really awkward space under my stairs. :) don't mind the tape...thats an older mark for water level. I just finished my ATO unit and will be topping out my sump to the max so I should have about 140 gallons of water in the...

    new set up

If I have my minds eye ok it should work, do you happen to know the GPH on the output with the head pressure you would have? Just my two cents but if you do this I would drill the tank twice if not three times. Once or twice for overflow and one bulkhead for the return. (just cleaner looking...

Small algae turf scrubber for nano-tank?

I personally don't use this nor have I seen it but I did some research and this site gave me a bit of insight: http://www.thekrib.com/Filters/scrubber.html#0 But it generally sounds like a good idea. I can't help you on the scrubber, but I use a macro algae in my refuge and it sounds like it...

TIDE effect in your BC 29?

Can you take some photos? This is interesting. Bizarre, but interesting. I can't think of anything that would cause water level to just rise like that. I am not familiar with your setup. Are there any external sources of water? Auto top off, sump, or refugium? Temps stable night and day?

TIDE effect in your BC 29?

Well the timing is important. I'm not sure what is causing it either. I'm pretty sure the mass of the water isn't great enough to be affected, but something has to be causing it. It the tank on carpet or a hard surface?

    I'm new, Introduction

Diffuse your current stream. I use Koralia power heads that have a output that is not in a stream. If you have something like the maxi jets try pointing it higher and against a wall (or rock) in your aquarium to break the stream up.

    Jesse's 12g AP w/70 watt Sunpod

Do those cameras have the ability to manually focus? All the cameras in my house are point and shot. Thus I am constantly trying to get the darn things to focus on a small object in my tank ... and failing.
