    Jesse's 12g AP w/70 watt Sunpod

Jeez! I am going to have to move soon so I think I will take the chance to move everything to a 20 gallon long with the MH over that.

A little advice would be appreciated thanks

How about a purple firefish, clown goby (green), and a yellow watchman goby? They have some pretty striking colors. You can always add in a some inverts for other color pops! Peppermint shrimp have a nice red coloring (although they do hide a lot, but they can eat nuisance aiptasia). Sexy...

Yep. Diatom algae eating up any trace silica. Perfectly normal. :cool1:

    Funkngroovy's 22g with sump.

Very nice! Does that anemone like that spot? Mine doesn't like to be dead center.

    Finally put my tank together...

Well the bubbles make me think bubble tip anemone, although I've never seen one so small. Heck you don't have anything else in there yet right? Might be cool to see what comes of it. (if it starts to spread that would be a good indication to eradicate)

    Hawaiian Lined Fireworm

Bristle worms normally aren't a problem, but if you do have a "fire" variety their sting can be quite painful. I consider them part of my clean up crew and they do a good job in my opinion. If there is a distinct red coloring then I may consider keeping the population in check by removing easy...

There are quite of few resources here on the forums about fish that work well. Also quite a few online vendors have "nano" sections with a variety of fish. What colors do you like? One great thing about your tank is it has a lid so you won't have to worry about jumping fish. By the way...

    New FTS

He's a great looking fish and I do like the rock land scape.

    Finally put my tank together...

Yes. Diatom bloom. Perfectly normal. It will get worse, then all of a sudden look GREAT. That anemone looks like aiptasia and should probably be gotten rid of. No big deal with the chemicals, I personally think that in the beginning you can save a few bucks by not using them. No harm...

    The 6 Gallon

    Funkngroovy's nano (7.5G)

LOL. I love the metric jokes... It is odd that we yanks still use the imperial system... FYI you can type into google "32 liters to gallons" and it will do the math for you. I love the wire idea!

Don't put anything in your tank unless you test for it first. The colored spots are probably coralline algae ( a good sign). There are a lot of opinions in salt water keeping but there are a couple common beliefs. However; skimmers, carbon, and chemicals are not part of those common...

Help -- Which One is the Best Tank??

True, value is a perception. Look what each one offers and see if there is something that one has that you want.

starter fish wat to add besides damsels?

The best order is to put your more peaceful inhabitants first then put your more aggressive fish in last. It is ok to put in inverts before fish, just make sure your tank is fully cycled.

    Finally put my tank together...

I wouldn't put any thing in there personally.

    WTF mate

It looks like a mini brittle starfish that is missing a leg or two.

When adding new rock to a new tank do the lights need to be

There will be plenty of algae. :) Diatoms will bloom more than likely and if all else fails you can feed the clean up crew.

    Advice on setting up

if you are diligent on water changes then a skimmer usually isn't "needed" but it does help keep DOCs (dissolved organic compounds) down and thus the water "cleaner". Plus some corals prefer water with higher DOCs while other demand pristine water. Read up on the corals you want to keep to see...
