oh another thing is you dont to large of a pump, you dont want it to top off to quick, it might change the salinity to drastically.

the only reason i used a low gph pump is so that when it topping off it doesnt stur up sediment in the chambers. the 400 will work fine though.

i have my JBJ ATO set-up on my 2 gallon pico at this moment. didnt need any else, and im using a micro jet pump 64gph. one sensor in the filteration chamber and the other in the resevior. my resevior is an gallon pickle jar. works great goes off twice a day for only a sec or two...

i cut the only two heads off the colony that havent been infected, hopefully they will be fine.

so i really dont want to loose this colony, is there any treatment for this?

i use a J-tube with three feet of hose on one end. syphon a gallon out and then pour a gallon in slowly. i use two one gallon pickle jars. this is for my 3.5 nano. for my 2 gallon pico, i use a large coffee cup. one out, one in. in my ten gaalon set-up i have it plumbed so that i pump new in...

my zoa's have what resembles chicken poxs. they are closed and have white dots all over them. they dont stay closed, it takes them alot longer to open. the dots cant be rubbed off, they look internal. anybody have an idea? ill try to get a pic later.

yep.......it depends, some weeks my water change keep the calcium up and others its alittle low. after the WC i test and whatever is says on the back to raise it to thew level i want is how much i use. unless you SPS corals you shouldnt really need to suppliment calcium.

the reason it looked blue was because i used actinic bulb to try to get the real colors i see in the pic

my pom-pom only has one anenome, and my other one that died during the crash, didnt have any and it did fine for about four months. but i dont anything to bother him in the tanks.

welcome to nanotank......unfortunitly i dont have any experience with aquapods but many here do.

im pretty sure its just a calcium suppliment, with a few other goodies. i have heard that it works but i have never used it myself.

temps alittle high, 78-80 is where it should be.
