I agree pics of the coral if you can .... I have placed zoas in the tank and they didnt open for a full month , others with in minutes . There are alot of diffrent reasonsand veriables as to why they wont open Lighting ~ vs what they came from perameters other corals temp were they...

I agree that 4 days seems a bit quick .....I would recommend retesting the water. As for the crab I am not sure how much rock work you have but he could be hidden . Just keep an eye out for the little fella as he may reappear if the cycle wasent compleat he may not have survived as the others...

I second the fan . Wal-mart has some great little turbo fans out by lakewood they are metal and come in an array of colors that is what we use for our 2 little 2.5 tanks

I think that pink skunks get a bit big for a 5 gallon they can reach sizes from 4 inches to 6 inches in length , Try to see if there are some other fish that pique your intrest ..... Maybe a gobie of some sort paired with a shrimp would work a bit better This is my opinion I am sure that others...

Not sure on that one but peppermint shrimp are said to eat them .....some do some dont ...either way us caution with peppermints as some will eat zoas and gsp. Another route is injecting joes juice into them to kill them or lemmon juice even boiling water , all are reef safe.Hope this helps ya...
