I dont know that you will have alot of light loss with vent holes the vent hole size that I was recommending would be 1/8 or smaller and perhaps vent the filter lid as an addtional ventilation BTW thanks for the full shot very nice start might I suggest loosing the stick on thermometer and...

I leave the small ones but the bigger ones give me the creeps so they inspect the porcelain throne for leaks :mrgreen: They are in virtually all reef tanks as long as you have live rock and sand you probably have em :mrgreen:

what about possibly drilling some holes on the end for ventilation . And add a room fan to hit the hood as well :mrgreen:

Ed there are 3 tanks the 7 gmb is my display in the living room seahorse , clown fish corals then there is the 2.5 in the living room just live rock snails hermits then there is the 2.5 in the bedroom this one happens to be the bed room tank with Mr . Wiggles :mrgreen:

Yea it is a red top vacutainer Dragon there is no flow in the smaller ones I may put a ph in the small one but the micro is a blood collection container and only houses some pissed off gsp and an astrea star :mrgreen:

pictures this houses a blue leg hermit and a nassorious (SP) snail as well as some GSP it holds a whopping 16 ozs of water while the upper one holds a whopping 3cc's Yep hit the sauce and hard :lol3:

it is a minijet 404 I have it running full tilt for great flow in this tank :mrgreen:
