    Why not take it back to the LFS for a credit , just curious no real need to send him "off" is there? (not trying to come down on you) but cycling with a fish is cruel not a message to send to a 4 year old ,on animal care . This is another reason cycling a tank with fish is no longer recommended

    There should be enough food to sustain them that you don't need food . However you probably could bump you lighting up to 4 hours a day if you see nusicance algae starting you could back it down to 3 hours a day , other wise you could start to increase your lighten an hour a week till you are at...

    Patients young grasshopper patients ........... You said that you keep moving them leave them set because as you move them you are "resetting" any progress and it makes it hard for them to adjust fully to where you move them :mrgreen: It some times takes them awhile to adjust to your tank...

    You will still have a cycle tho if it is cured it may be less than if it isnt cured . Also check the frag swap area here as some do offer it up on the site (I have 3 lbs here that is up for purchace ) you could also post a wanted to buy message too :mrgreen:
