    Live rock will start your cycle . Because of the sensitive nature of these creatures you should wait to add snails and hermits or anything for that matter it is painful for them to go through a cycle JMHO

    Mine if fact did grow a new crown ......... she could take it out if she can get to it they wont harm the tank if left in but they do look creepy ...........As for telling just watch to see if you see a "slug" like thing in a few days she can very lightly pinch the tube to see if she feels him...

    Yes they can sting they are a kind of jelly fish they usually pose no harm to the tank unless you have dwarf seahorses usually they will just go away however if they bother you go to www.seahorses.org you should be able to find something on how to rid them ,HTH :mrgreen:

    I am not sure if the emrald crabs would pick at them or not . She could feed them photo but very little , she should not need to feed them if she is doing proper water changes. Perameters are good try to get the NitrAtes below 25 10-15 range they are up but not that high above 25 you will start...

    All should be ok just monitor him . That is pretty much all you can do . Have her have water at the ready for a water change should the perameters indicate. Other wise jus watch . He could be stressed from the move he had they can be sensitive to things we just dont see or understand keep us...
