    WTG :clap: looking good the shrimp are kinda creepy tho (got stung by a bee over the summer time 8 times and needed the medics because I am allergic) so nothing that carries a name bumble bee goes into the tank :mrgreen:

    Watts per Gallon

    Watts per gallon rule is pretty much out however they do go hand in hand with par (but to get a true par reading you need a meater) The depth of the tank determines the par for you as to how far it reaches to the bottom. Lighting is not my strong point at all . Here are some links that...

    NAH Never look at it as a failure look at it as working the "kinks" out every new tank has kinks plain and simple . Some times you have to tear it down and start from square one been there done that :razz: :mrgreen:

    Low light corals

    Most shrooms will be ok as will GSP , some of the normal color zoas (browns, greens) and even a trumpet may do well IMHO . I am sure that others will have some input as well HTH :mrgreen:

    Dickie in your experience what is the lowest temp a coral can survive ? Like I said they were acclimated in about 1/2 hour due to the circumstances . I did have them in the 7gmb display and moved them to the 2.5 with nothing more than a cleanup crew as the residents in the 7 gallon were...

    I know this was posted by some one else but I think it deserves a second recongnition I ordered some zoas from www.liveaquaria.com My order was delayed in TN over night and the temps in the box hit 48 degrees . I called them up and they refunded my money with out hesitation . I recommend them...

    Fish for Nanocube 12

    I would skip the starfish they can desimate a tank by knocking corals over . Other wise good selection add them slowly and wait till the tank cycles before adding anything . BTW :welcome

    Nice , I like it now with the live sand . I always thought that I was seeing colors befor but since you admit that it was green I now feel sane again . :mrgreen: I think the sand had a silica base it will cloud the water :mrgreen:

    we use bottle distilled water here from walmart 60 cents a gallon our LFS charges an arm and a leg for RO/DI :mrgreen:

    Nope they will scavenge junk off of it they may irritate it by walking on it but they wont eat it . They wont harm it but may cause it to retract ours do that to all new pieces in our tank :mrgreen:

    Cool looking snail thing at my LFS

    I have no real knowledge of them but I know that most nudis dont do well long term in a nano. If they die they release toxins that can nuke the tank,hopefully others will have input/experience with them HTH :mrgreen:
