    When you transfer your rock and such over you may set off a bit of a small cycle do watch for that . Remember that you want your tank to be mature before introduction of the seahorse . There will still be pods that they will find and eat like ours but he gets fed the mysis shrimp .I would not do...

    No you want the filter to pick up the small debris kicked up and suspended in the h20 this will help to clear the water a bit quicker as well :mrgreen:

    Well after trial and error I found that the other container used for my pico was not going to work because lighting it would have been hazzardous to do (belive me I am working on this ) so for the time being I am doing a bubble gum pico it takes about 4 ounces more water than the other one and...

    that sounds good keep in mind when feeding them you need to turn off pumps and filters as they are methodical eaters they will stare their food down before attacking it . I turn mine off 10 minutes before feedings and leave them down for another 30 or so after feeding .Then I hit them to stirr...

    :isorry :mrgreen: The mechanisium melts I believe and if the sand gets in them it over heats them to the melt point ......... but with every other day cleaning you may be ok...

    That sucks I agree look into a 5 gallon aga tank. nano cubes have a history of popping .
