    Jesse's 20L+20L fuge...

Well on my Pentax S5i there is a setting called the "6cm super macro setting". It is for taking close-ups of objects within somewhere like 4"-12" of the lense. Thanks alot for the comments guys... I am really proud of some of those shots. Jesse

    Whats the best???

Well, the bigger the tank (the more water volume), the more stable it is. I like 20 gallon long tanks personally. These measure somwhere around 30"Lx12"Wx12"T. The all-in-one tanks have the one downfall of not allowing many different upgrades... lighting, filtration, etc. Basically, you...

    PC, T5, or VHO

Pcs may be just what you need then. This is for a 20L right? The 2x65 watters would be good. Look into the Current USA Satellite fixtures... good quality, built-in fans and moonlights. They even have legs to sit on top of the tank. Jesse

    Tank Size?

I think there is a 15H and like shaggy said, an 18H. Keep an eye out too for some custom sizes... or you could always make your own, usually cheaper than buying one. all it takes is a glass shop to purchase/cut the glass, some silicone and a couple other minor tools etc. You could always...

    Yellow Clown Goby

can you take him back? Does your LFS have like a 24 hr guarantee? It might not be anything, but the "zits" worry me. If you are noticing unusual behaviors though, something must be wrong. Can you set up a QT? that would be the first step, Jesse

    PC, T5, or VHO

If heat is an issue and you dont have plans for crocea clams and other super high-light corals, definitely go with the 4x24 watt t5 HO fixture, but I would look into the Tek t5 HO setup... their reflectors are superior to any other brand. the reflectors on t5's is what makes them such a good...

    Here's my 55 Mixed reef

Great tank! Hey I had an RBTA too and it looked just like that until I starte feeding it some meaty foods like raw tiger shrimp bits, silversides, etc. After about 2 weeks of feeding every three days or so, it's tentacles were much shorter and bubbly... just a suggestion. Jesse

    New to Nano

First off, WELCOME to nanotank.com! Secondly, you can use the rock and sand from your old tank to begin your new nano... there shouldnt be any sort of cycle. Thirdly, I personally dont like bare bottom tanks, but they can be done. Those that do it usually use a cuttingboard surface...
