    aquemeni's 6G Nano

I wonder why there seems to be many people on this site that are getting these nudis. Are the frags coming from the same place? Goes to show the importance of thoroughly checking ALL frags before you place them into your tank, or even better, performing a dip on all frags before adding them to...

Hello Nanotankers, New to nano reefs

I like the product Cyclopeeze. I use the frozen bar. For flaked foods, i like Ocean Nutrition Brine Shrimp Plus as well as Formula 1. I also use frozen brine shrimp once in a while. DT's Phytoplankton is also a VERY good product. It all depends on what you are trying to feed. Jesse

    Newcomer from AZ

IMO I think you should ALWAYS have a heater, even if you need a chiller on the tank. temps can drop, especially at night, and the only way to avoid big temp swings is to have a heater. 1.027 is a little high, but as long as it is consistantly 1.027 then you will be fine. It becomes a...

Planning to convert my freshwater 29 into a reef. Input?

As far as skimmers go, I have heard TONS of good stuff about the Coralife Super Skimmer 65... It is a HOT or in-sump. I think I am going to be getting it for my tank. Oh and you should be able to get it for around $80. Jesse

    Guess what I did?

The best way to do it is to use a free online hosting site like photobuclet.com . Then you post the pic on there, copy and paste the [IMG] address into your post on here and you should be all set. HTH, Jesse

Planning to convert my freshwater 29 into a reef. Input?

I would skip the Skilter... I have never heard a good thing about them. For a skimmer, check out the Coralife Super Skimmer 65... it will be the next skimmer I buy. The lighting will be up to you. The 29 is kinda tall and I would personally go with a MH fixture. It would allow you better...

    Steve Irwin dies

You know, he led a dangerous life, but you never truely expect things like this to happen. It is really sad, he left behind his wife and two small children. He DID die doing what he enjoyed most though... but what a freak thing. Jesse
