1) you can swap it out, but I think it would be best to do a couple pieces at a time so that you sont immediatly remove all of that good bacterial filtration. Also just make sure the rock you add to the tank is FULLY cured. 2) Fragging is taking small pieces off of a larger coral/colony...

Your rock looks nice. 11 blue-legs may be too much in the long run. You may consider taking a few out in a month or two. That purple coraline on that one piece should help to seed the other rocks... keep us updated. Jesse
