    Tips on shipping corals?

What sizes do you want? The larger ones or smaller ones? Ill find out how much it is to ship the empty boxes and I do have paypal. I am not a shipping expert, but I would suggest trying to remove as much of the rock as possible and then just bag each frag individually and double or triple...

    Clown fish coloration

That is a gold-striped maroon clown. They can get large and are more aggressive that other clowns IME. One of my favorites though. Jesse

    Tips on shipping corals?

Generally you want as little rock as possibe A) to help prevent damage in shipping to the zoas, B) the wastes from the die-off on the rock. I have TONS of various sized boxes with styro liners... the largest are these... Let me know if you want a couple and I can just ship...

    Choosing plants/critters for a 10G fuge?

A DSB (deep sand bed) wont be effective in a small tank like a 10g. I would suggest not even having sand in a fuge that small. I would also suggest not having the LR down there either. I have a LR section and I am in the process of removing it. It quickly becomes a detritus collector and...

    Jesse's 20L SPS tank

quote="Phischy"]You're using Scripps water? Isn't that a bit of a drive? There is a posting up on sdreefs as far as what the local water is lacking, but I'm sure you read up on that and made the proper adjustments. I personally mix my own, but I have used scripps water before. Most the guys...

    Brandon's 20 Gallon Long Prop

I would manually remove as much of the HA as you can. Have you tested for PO4? I think it should clear up with time. Keep us updated. Jesse

    all goby or blenny tank?

If you want to have a variety of fish, you should probably consider (A) a fish only with live rock tank (FOWLR) and (B) a little bit bigger tank. Most gobies should be fine together. You will probably want a skimmer to help with the increased bioload. I would say that gobies are probably a...

I have seen a little bit of growth so far on my blue millepora... It's kinda hard to tell by those pics but the branches have grown out a little bit, it has colored up, and the plug is fully encrusted. The picture on the left is from Feb 14, the pic on the right is from March 23... so 5...

Actually that is a pretty sweet little MH setup. Nanotank.com is really becoming an international site! We have quite a few people from the UK and a couple Aussies. I know there are people from other places of the world too, just cant think of them right now. How is the selection of...

    Remove black coating

If it is like a nanocube, it should just be a black vinyl coating that will pull right off. Then I guess you could just use "gunk-off" or something like that to remove any sticky residue left behind. If it is painted on then a razor blade should work. HTH, Jesse
