I know I'm a mod, but it's a been a LONG time since I've really posted to this site. DJ Conn and I go way back. Anywho, my tank is still around and after letting it go and doing bare min maintence, this weekend I'm going to do my fish/corals a HUGE favor and clean my pumps/lines and get around to posting new pics. Ihave to have words with my my web site about some issues, but I'm getting back into reef keeping here shortly. I never left....just did the bare min.
What have I been doing? Good question.
Brewing BEER of course! I started brewing just before I got back into reef keeping and in the mean time I put a lot of effort, time, and $$$ into beer equipment (which robbed me of tank equipment)...
So if you've see Phischy's Quest VIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIXX then this'll make you happy (and if you live in SD, loaded as well):
2 taps, currently Imperial Stout @ 7.6 % ABV and ESB @ 6.8% ABV, Oatmeal Imperial Stout @ ~8% ABV & Irish Cream Ale fermenting right now...more beers coming up...too bad the clowns can't enjoy!
Fish tank mods...uh...lots of maintence/cleaning...and then an insump skimmer/ vs. my current HOB skimmer....otherwise...status quo...LPS...new bulbs...and that's it....
