    Tank Disaster...

    Filters

fluval from what i have heard makes really good products as does marineland. me personally would go with the fluval just cause they have been around awhile and the marineland is a new product and there might be some problems. HTH

    critters in fuge ?

brine has to be raised seperatly, pods, algae and snails will be enough for what you need. be carefull on feeding live brine, your fish will get spoiled and wont eat frozen or flake again. plus live brine doesnt have alot of nutrients, mysis and other enriched frozen foods are way better.

arrow crabs are cool but can get really aggressive. all salts are pretty much the same with the exception of a couple better ones. its mostly all preference.

    starfish in biocube 29

all depends on waht else is in the tank.

    24 Gallon Aquapod

usually a pound per gallon alittle more doesnt hurt. you dont want to leave any dead spots in your tank(spots where there isnt any water flow). so too much cant hurt.

    starfish in biocube 29

i keep a brisstle star in my fuge and hes been doing fine, had him in the display but kept knocking everything not glued over. if they dont get fed they can die cause they tank doestn produce enough food itself. HTH

    8g Bio-Cube

me personally i would only get one of each snail and leave out the turbo's. the tank isnt really big enough to produce enough food for all those snails. but you can get a small goby for that tank. other than that everything sounds good. and welcome to nanotank.

    BLACK SAND

mostlikly three to four weeks depending on teh quality of live rock.

    steps involved with upgrades

if your just adding more sand and LR then the old stuff will help keep the cycle down. make new salt water to fill the tank and wait couple weeks to add the rest of your inhabitants.

    steps involved with upgrades

buckets or large rubbermaid containers with heaters and powerheads should do the trick. i have kept stuff for couple weeks like that when i broke my tank. i also did weekly water changes too and kept fish seperate. HTH. sorry to hear about your leakage
