those little guys can graze too. in the last three weeks i have had eggs hatch and now i have like three hundred babies crawling around. its wild to see them when i turn the lights on in the morning.

glue wont work, either rubber band the foot to a rock or sew it on. when we say sew we mean just pierce the foot so you can tie it to the rock. HTH

sand shouldnt be a problem. i go through sperts of cyano. it comes and goes in my tank. i notice i get more when i over feed occassionally. as for the garlic, i use garlic guard but used to use fresh garlic off of the clove. heres a link to explain it all...

mine have gone five days before, and i have not fed my FW tank for over a week before. they should be fine as long as the salinity doesnt go crazy.
