I am using live sand and I set up my fish tank mid. December last year.
My tank is a coral reef tank and I'm still unsure of what to do.
Any other advice?
My tank has some red slime algae that started growing on the sand and now I notice it on my rocks and near my coral.
Whenever I move my sand around it grows back quickly.
What do I do? :anxious
My tank has been up for 9months 3weeks and 3days =D
And nooo I haven't tested any of the chemicals that I'm adding, but I will be sure to now!
My bf works at a petstore too, now isn't that handy...lol
o0o I see
Yah I have two tank bred percula fishes and for some reason (twice only so far) that they have jumped in the back of my tank.. not OUTSIDE but just the back of my 6g nano, but I saved them..heh :)
Why are glass lids NOT a good idea?
If I were to get this:

Wouldn't I have to worry about my fish jumping out of my tank? Or will they provide like a clear glass to go on the top of my tank as a "hood" to prevent fish from jumping out?
:eusthink
