I am using live sand and I set up my fish tank mid. December last year. My tank is a coral reef tank and I'm still unsure of what to do. Any other advice? :sad:

My tank has some red slime algae that started growing on the sand and now I notice it on my rocks and near my coral. Whenever I move my sand around it grows back quickly. What do I do? :anxious

Soooooo I shouldn't does anything in my tank, but Purple up once a week?

My tank has been up for 9months 3weeks and 3days =D And nooo I haven't tested any of the chemicals that I'm adding, but I will be sure to now! My bf works at a petstore too, now isn't that handy...lol

O0oh and I use : Magnesium, Iodide, Iron and Purple Up and I have 54w in my 6g nanocube....

How can I grow Coralline Algae? I've been using Purple Up once a week for a long time now... and no Coralline Algae =( Why is that?

o0o I see Yah I have two tank bred percula fishes and for some reason (twice only so far) that they have jumped in the back of my tank.. not OUTSIDE but just the back of my 6g nano, but I saved them..heh :) Why are glass lids NOT a good idea?
