I just have one spoiled rotten labrador retreiver. We live in an almost 1600 square foot house and she rules every inch of it. As far as having more pups I don't think Sassy would approve, they would be fine unless I paid them any attention because if I did then we would both be in for it. Here is a pic, she turned 7 last month. Don't get me wrong, she is an overgrown sweetheart and loves everyone but she isn't going to share me with another dog if she has something to say about it.

She likes the tanks, I have to convince her that they are her fish so she doesn't get jealous when I work on them. She doesn't watch them alot but she does occasionally. She also likes to watch TV but only when an animal show is on.

How cool man, I'm in IT too, just promoted to System Administrator. Been helpdesk/desktop support for nearly 2 years, now I'm doing the system administration, getting familiar with all the servers, access levels, active directory, exchange, and so on....

In short, I'm loving it :) How long you been doing IT?

Hi Steven,

I have been in IT for almost 10 years. I started in the helpdesk and moved to server support after my fist year. I have been a consultant for 4 years and the past year I have been working for Oil Company called CNRL. I work mostly with Microsoft (AD,SQL, IIS, File/Print) and Citrix servers.

How is the job market in the US for IT right now? Calgary is starting to pick up now.

Man, lucky you. you can fish in your backyard! If you tossed you line in the storm drains around my house, all you would get is a...umm...well lets just leave it right there.

Hi Jesse,

This is about 30 mins from my place. That day my friend that I went fishing with had a 10+Lbs rainbow trout on the line. It snapped the line in half. I of course did not get a bite that day. There are tons of places to fish around Calgary that is all we do in the summer.

It sucked when i graduated back in 2002, but 2005 and 2006, I have seen more job openings for IT. It's finally turning around here, so I'm happy.

OK, I am new to this site but figured what better for my first post than an introduction. [This is going to feel like a personal ad.]

My name is Jason and I am a computer programmer in the metro-Detroit area. In less than am month I will be 25 and I really look forward to starting a reef tank. When I was young my parents always had a very large salt tank in the family room and everyone misses it greatly, even after about 15 years. Just yesterday I mentioned to my mother that I was looking into setting up a tank and she could not believe it. Apparently my father and her were just at the local fish store looking at tanks last week. Go figure, eh? Anyhow, I wanted to start small with a nano, but I think I am going to just dive in and set-up 75 gallon tank, as I know I will want the size down the road.

I must say this site has been wonderful. I have learned so much over the past few days of reading and am certain I will be begging for help once I purchase a tank.

Even though I hate photos of myself, here is a shot that was taken for my graduation about a year ago.
