Reefermike,
Thanks for the comments on my tanks; I pride myself in my care and maintenance on my tanks.
I find it really hard to get both tanks up and running since I moved. If you didn't know, I lost so much corals and fish on my move easily $500 dollars in just a blink of the eye.
As I got the 72 up and running courtesy of my younger brother flying up and helping me, I would've still stalled and killed more corals and fish.
After the 72 was up and going I still had the 6 gallon hanging around the garage and since I downgraded the light, I asked my wife if I could set it up since it would be just small gobies and shrooms. She gave me the green light and well there it is so far.
I just cannot fill both of these tanks in a blink of an eye because it cost so much money and we are on a budget with the new home; so I have to be patient.
If you look at my tanks in the past including when I just owned the 72 my specimens were incredible and my tank was blooming, now it's a different story and time will be my allie.
With time being on my side and having to be patient, I want to save my money and get really nice corals and this time I've decided to branch into a different theme for my 72 gallon more LPS than SPS.
I fell in love with the new look of a new lfs that surfaced up in the last month. He had nothing but gorgeous LPS all over his 140 gallon show tank, it was a site to see very different.
Anyway my advice take it slow with your tanks if you have the patience you will love what you will create in the future as opposed to those reefers that stock there tanks so fast they see themselves selling some corals at a loss to get a new coral.
Or they run out of real estate and cannot figure out why they didn't wait, how do I know this? I was one of those reefers many many years ago.
