    Upgraded pump for a nanocube

sounds impressive and it says it's cool temperature or something like that....so it shouldn't heat the tank all crazy.

    Upgraded pump for a nanocube

hey skip, that little pump looks killer, and definitely something worth adding in there to rid adding a second pump. Let me know if it works out and fits the nanocube okay. Should be real nice for the 12 gallon, flow should be just right. If all is well I'll be the next to purchase it for my...

    advice for newbie

6 to 8 week period she says if you are getting LR in your tank, because it takes time for it to cure in your tank, and the water to stabalize to healthy conditions. It's a waiting game, but you can speed it up a bit if you can get hold of already cycled/cured rock from an established fish tank...

    Is it ich?

See what I mean....usually resorts to a fatality, that Ick, is one heck of a parasite, and hard to kill off, unless you catch it early. Well I'm sorry to hear aobut the death of the clown, but you have the right idea about quarantining your fish to make sure. You can't see ick right away until...

Pico transitioned to JBJ 6 gallon...a new beginning

Yeah, basically since it's free hosting like tinypic, it has maintenace from time to time, but when it's done it displays back up automatically. Anyway, as far as the 6 gallon, I met the God of customizing Nanocubes....Mr. Chris of Nanocustoms. He gave me a great deal. Very cool guy.

What are the ABC's of starting a nano tank?

Oh yikes, sorry to hear you had to find out the hard way about the Live Rock. If you have taken it out, you definitely need to put it back in. It needs to cure. Your tank will go through the cloudiness, and the smell will be harsh, but after that period is over, the rock will cure, and the...

    Is it ich?

Kick ich is good, it's just in a big bottle so it's kinda pricy, but worth it. Also you should mix your food with garlic, let it soak. The garlic helps for the recovery process and heals up so they can take food better. All cases I've seen have killed fish eventually. It's hard to erradicate...

    Is it ich?

ick is a deadly and yes it will spread. Ick is a living parasite, that lays eggs and when it hatches they'll be looking for something to host, that being your fish. You would need to quarantine that fish from the rest immediately. The little grains of salt you see are the cysts created from...

You'll find what I found very useful. At least I think so. Here's the link: http://www.edge-of-reef.com/inggris/laben.htm Just put whatever in the "find" and it'll pull it up if it has it in the database. The pictures there are amazing. I ran a search on "Ocellaris" for fun, and it...

Pico transitioned to JBJ 6 gallon...a new beginning

oh here's an updated pic of the yuma. Looks like the white is turning yellow. It's coming around I believe. Should I be target feeding it with bio-plankton or is it mostly feeding by photosynthesis?

    Grumpyface

yeah, seems like the pic is currently down based on where you are hosting it from. Even if you try and view the exact destination, it says it's not there.

Pico transitioned to JBJ 6 gallon...a new beginning

pic update here's the pics of the zoos. They are in the 12 jbj for now as I need to remove two corals I have that are problematic. The plate expands too big, it seems like it does better for bigger tanks, not nano's. The galaxia is mean, anything catches it's tentacle, it'll sting the crap...
