    problem with clownfish?

lol, that goes for all tangs. Tangs will easily outgrow a tank of your size. Time to say good bye to mr tang, and buy something else. Suggestion: 1.) Bi color blenny 2.) Neon Goby 3.) Yellow Gum drop goby 4.) six-line wrasse 5.) purple psuedo/bi color psuedo Fishies like that are...

    Water Changes

I usually move my corals down a bit, if the water goes down to where it exposes them to air, then when I bring the water level up. Ideally I have everything aquascaped and everything positioned so that when I do water changes it does not expose the corals to air. If there is something wrong...

Check out this video, still trying to figure out if its real

I agree, it's a camera trick and nicely done too. All she would have to do is jump in front as she did, and while she's coming down pull on the net with her left hand to simulate going through it. Her head was too much at an angle when coming down, so if she had gone through it, she would have...

    Help, Trachyphyllia ate brittle star!

only thing I could think is feed your open brain more more during the time of your brittle star is regenerating, apparently it saw it as a tasty morsal, and took advantage. Cyclopeeze should do the trick, at least I know that's what Rbaby does. The red/pink series brain looks real nice too...

    Filtering a 2.5

The Aquaclear should be nice, or a whisper 20. both can adjust and you shouldn't have it blowin' up your sand as it was.

no such luck as of yet, but still trying to get more info. No responses back though :( I have started a thread at RC, but the doctor was not even aware of the species and could offer no help. The only one that wanted to help as he was interested in the shrimp was "SPAWNER'...

    Help, Trachyphyllia ate brittle star!

You are in a subject that I am not too familiar with, I know it's been sometime since you have posted, but what happened? Did it die? If LFS gave um to you, he/she probably knew it wasn't going to live long and when something is dying, there isn't much you can do. brittle stars in general are...

    Friday Pics

i like that last one, very cool pic with the emerald. As far as the staghorn, that shell does not last long though. I hear there is no real way of knowing how to care for that shell in captivity. Some have had them for 2 months living (the shell i mean, not the crab), while others have had...

    Slug ID?

here's an interesting link talking about the various snails we buy as cleanup crews. THe one you have dj is much like ones I've had in the little pico (when I used to have it up) I didn't like them, although they ate algae, if ever you pissed them off or moved something, they'd start spitting...
