Sounds like a good start, you may want to consider an upgrade in lighting. I recommend the 15" 32 watt smartlite retro fit. I bought mine at http://www.drsfostersmith.com At the time it was on sale for $40. It is definitely worth it, bumping the tank to 4.67 watts/ gallon. Just an option...

I have not used them for purchasing livestock, but i have bought dry goods fro mthem and they have excellent service and prices. Shipping is quite cheap with them as well. I mainly use their site to look up information on Fish/ corals etcs that I'm interested in.
