    Dollarz81 20gal

I have 2 false percs in my tank and they get along great. I added mine at different times but I would suggest getting them at the same time to lessen the chance of fighting over territory. Get 1 that is a decent size smaller than the other, or if you can, find 2 that are definitely already a...

    securing live rock

I second the zip tie method. Some people glue the rock and also some people drill it and put rods through to hold it in place. I personally think the zip ties are easiest.

Just picked up some nice rock and 2 new corals

You probably wont find any Local fish store that sells live rock for under 5.49/ lb If you buy enough, some places will ship it for free. I know liveaquaria has some good rock if you wanted to check them out.

    When to add corals?

Well I think that you would be alright if you go with LPS corals. The SPS Corals are the ones that really require the MH lighting, as well as clams, for the most part. I would probably wait a little while after the tank has cycled to let it mature before adding corals. Start wit ha cleanup crew...

Crocea from my 20 gal pic

Thats a nice looking clam. I'd love to have a deresa, but I'm worried it would grow too fast for my 12 gallon.

Do you use a protien skimmer on your nano?

I was wondering about this very topic when i first started up my nano. I have an aquac remora pro skimmer on my 55 gal and i love it, wouldnt run a reef that suze without one, but it really seems like more of a pain to put one on the 12 gal cube, since i'd have to cut into the hood and get a...

will a 7 watt daylight be ok in a .75 gallon for softies?

That has tbe the smallest setup I've ever seen. It seems like it would be a real pain getting everyting right (salinity etcs.) Do you have any problems with water parameters?

    Cquariums?

I know what you mean about worrying that you'll get what you see. I've never actually ordered livestock from an online vendor, and that is the main reason why. that and the fear of death upon arrival. Although most companies now offer livestock arrival guarantee, I'm still a little wary. Where...

    Hey im new here

what i did was add the 32 to the stock lighting, so i have 56 watts total. I also know of people who just replaced out the 24 with the 32. either way would be an upgrade, and a good idea.

How many fish is Too Much

I agree, any more than 2 and you're flirting with disaster. Nanos are too small and water quality can change very fast, especially with a high bioload.
